 Thermoformed
plastics are relatively easy to process. They can be remolded under
temperature are quick to cycle and can be weldable. In addition there is
a large portfolio of thermoplastic resins with properties for nearly
every performance requirement.
Thermoformed plastics consist of fibrous macro-molecules which are all
mixed up like in a ball of cotton and do not include any inter-netting
with each other. As the temperature increases they become more elastic
and as they are further heated, they become plastically soft and finally
fluid.
